Hugs in Pisgat Ze’ev
(If you are a returning visitor to this page, you can skip
the following introduction and click on the links following it to get the
latest updates.)
Pisgat Ze’ev is a northern community of Jerusalem just past the area known as French Hill. In December 2001, two teenagers from Pisgat Ze’ev were among the 11 teenagers killed in the suicide bombing in the Ben Yehuda Pedestrian Mall in the center of Jerusalem. In addition, many of its residents also ride the same buses that pass through the French Hill junction…a frequent terrorist target.
Pisgat Ze’ev Community Center
We have placed an inflatable bounce castle at the Community Center as a way
of reaching out to the community as a whole. Click on the “What Israelis Say
About Hugs” link, to your right to read the letter that the Director wrote
to us. Then visit the Photo Gallery to see photos.
