kindergarten said it was the most beautiful dress they had ever seen for

Purim.  Everything that you bring through Brenda and Hugs for Israel

makes us very happy.  Liel is always waiting for Brenda and she is

Jerusalem, I would like to thank you and Hugs for Israel for providing our

center with a Bounce Castle.  The children absolutely love it and I am

sure they will continue to enjoy it over the years.  As East Talpiot is a

suburb close to Arab suburbs, the children of the area have been

affected over the past few years by the situation.  It is important to see

the children happy.  Your efficiency to provide our center with the

Bounce Caste was remarkable and you truly are an asset to Hugs for

Israel and all those you work with.  Your devotion to the cause stands

out for above the rest and it is appreciated greatly. Once again, thank

    you."

  • Shlomo Turgeman, Director of the Gilo Community Center, Jerusalem

"On behalf of the children of Gilo, I would like to thank Hugs for Israel

for the generous donation of the inflatable Bouncing Castle.  The castle

faces of the young children whilst they jump on and around the castle

is worth all the efforts that were taken to receive the gift. Thanking you

    kindly."

  • Daniella Weiss, Mayor of Kedumim

    "

  • Moshe Hazut, Director of the Neve Yosef Community Center in Haifa

"The local children live the difficult security state of Israel on every day

basis. Some of their family members even witnessed the terrorist

attacks that occurred in our area.  We do our best to enrich and

empower the children of the community by making the time spent with

us more pleasant and fun as much as possible, and your contribution

    helps us fulfill that goal.  As you have probably seen, you did it again;

you put a smile on the children's faces and made them happy.  We

wish you many more years of blessed work and thank you from the

bottom of our hearts in the name of the Neve Yosef children, their

families and the whole of the community."

  • Dror Vanunu, Director of Friends of Gush Katif Communities

"Dear Brenda, I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude for your donation

of FIVE bounce castles for the children of Gush Katif presently living in

various locations throughout Israel.  After years of terrorist attacks and,

more recently, after the trauma of the expulsion and the uncertainty of

the future, our prime effort focuses on the well being of our children to

help them regain their happiness and confidence.  As you might know,

the government provided basic housing solutions for the refugees but did

not take care of the communities' needs in terms of leisure activities for

the children.  The bounce castles will help provide the children with

entertaining activities and many moments of fun.  Your true concern

and support are meaningful for our whole community who feels the great

loss of Gush Katif and the hardships of a new start."

  • Dikla Cohen, Coordinator of Educational Activities for evacuated Gush

Katif families temporarily living in the Shalom Hotel, Jerusalem

"Dear Brenda, We are writing to let you know how happy we are with

the terrific bounce castle from Hugs for Israel.  It has really cheered up

our children and brought back the smiles on their faces.  The displaced

families of Gush Katif are deeply grateful for your kindness and

humanitarian concern for our children, who have been traumatized by

the loss of their homes, friends and familiar surroundings.  By bringing

joy to our children, you are strengthening and supporting us during this

difficult time.  Thank you for everything."

  • Luda, mother of 6-year-old in Sderot

"I want to thank you from all the heart that you are helping my child

with the pain that she has.  Thank you very very much from my

    heart."

  • Ruthie, mother of 6-year-old victim in Sderot

"Thank you very much for the help, support and everything that you are

doing for us. God Bless you!  Thank you for the clothes and the games

and for everything you do.  Daniel is now in the first grade and he is a

very good student and he is kind-hearted."

  • Tamar Blum-Tal, Director of the Hadera Development Fund in Hadera

"Dear Brenda, On behalf of the children of Hadera whose lives have been

affected by terrorist acts in the city, and children suffering from post

traumatic stress disorder, we want to express our appreciation to

Hugs for Israel fo rthe wonderful gift of a bouncing castle. The castle has

already shown itself to be a source of fun and gaiety for the children, and

a great resource for the therapists on the team at the Grossman Family

Parent-Child Center.  In particular, we see that it is very helpful for ill-

treated children who are afraid of touch---within the protected confines

of the castle they can bounce and bump around with other kids, allowing

them to understand that touch can be safe and pleasurable.  Brenda, we

want to thank you in particular for your dedication and enthusiasm in

bringing this project to life and for personally delivering the castles to

young Israelis whose lives have been affected by disaster."

  • Tzila, mother of 12-year old victim of Jerusalem suicide bus bombing

"Thank you for coming!  Now there is Joy in the house."
