Project

The personal pen-pal project connecting an individual Israeli child with a child from abroad in the same age range and the same gender. This is an excellent vehicle to "jump start" a child victims interest in his surroundings again as he/she begans to receive communications from a peer from another culture half way around the world. All communications are done via written letters through the post. Because of the well-known problems that can arise from misuse of the internet of those who target children for abuse, Hugs for Israel ABSOLUTELY refrains from the use of the internet as a means of communication with the children whom we have been entrusted with in any of our projects.

As the friendship develops through time it is hoped that the day will come when the two will be able to meet in person either here in Israel or in the country of the international child. Wouldn't that just be WONDERFUL!!

As with all the projects, funds are needed in order for them to thrive. Please prayerfully consider financially supporting this project in order that Hugs make facilitate the efforts of your child as he/she works together with their Israeli HugsPal to build bridges of beauty across the sea of despair.
