Hugs in Givon HaChadasha
This is the place where Joshua made his amazing request for the sun to stand still…and the LORD answered by doing it! The community abuts a hostile neighboring Arab village and some of its members have been killed by sniper fire while driving on the road leading to the community.
The Community Kindergarten

When the shooting didn’t stop, ultimately they decided that even with the concrete barriers, it was still just too dangerous for the kids to be outside. They then bought two mobile trailers, joined them back to back and converted them into a jamboree so the kids would have a safe place to play. They wanted to purchase an inflatable bounce for the jamboree but the price quote they got was outrageous. Our contact in Karnei Shomron where we had already donated a bounce castle found out and called us to see if there was anything we could do for them. Hearing their situation, of course we readily agreed to donate one to this community as well. In about a week from the time we were first contacted, on January 3, 2006 we set up the bounce castle there. It was the perfect compliment for the jamboree and the kids thoroughly enjoy it!
