Hugs in Ashdod
Located on the southern Mediterranean coast about 41 miles from Jerusalem,
the city has a population of approximately 197,000 according to 2004 census
stats. It is also home to Israel’s second largest sea port.
Met two children whom we are working with here who used to live in Sderot.

The younger brother of Ruti above. Even though only a toddler, he too had
been traumatized by the rocket attacks in Sderot while they lived there. Moved
with his family to Ashdod.
